Queenstown Personal Tour: Bennett’s Bluff/Coronet Peak/Arrowtown/Iconic Bungy Viewing/Gibbston Wine Tasting

Join us as I personally show you the best sights of Queenstown and the greater area on the Queenstown Personal Tour. This morning I’ll pick you up at your hotel and we will drive down the lake to Bennett’s Bluff lookout for a stunning photo stop, this stretch of road from Queenstown to Glenorchy was recently voted by Lonely Planet as “one of the most beautiful drives in the world” and you’ll see why when we stop at the Bennett’s Bluff lookout.

We can stop for a short walk along the way at Bob’s Cove which has a fascinating history before we carry on up to Coronet Peak which was NZ’s first commercial ski field and has stunning views over Lake Wakatipu and Lake Hayes. While up the mountain, we will take you to the start of the infamous Skippers Canyon road for amazing views and to learn the history of this legendary place.

Arriving in Arrowtown, a charming town with a rich gold mining history, walk through the old Chinese settlement followed by a picnic lunch by the river or local cuisine at one of the nearby restaurants.

This afternoon we will visit the World Home of Bungy at the Kawarau Suspension Bridge located at the gateway to the Gibbston wine region. We will drive through the Gibbston wine region which are famed for it’s Pinot Noir and visit some of the top wineries and cellar doors to sample some stunning wine before returning to Queenstown.

We can also tailor the tour to create the perfect day specifically designed for you, your family or group to incorporate your interests.
