The three of us booked two private tours with Emma and Lee. Thank goodness! They showed us sights and gave us a great history lesson of their beautiful country. Emma took us to tour Milford Sound. Wow and wow again are the words to use here. The tour was at our pace and we didn’t want for anything. The huge lunch was a bonus. (Maybe too generous) and I’m a big guy.

The next day Lee took us to Mount Cook. The changes in the countryside along the was almost astonishing. Flat lands with dairy farms to rolling hills with sheep and then mountains everywhere. Every 50 K the scenery changes but it was never boring. Along the way Lee suggested a helicopter flight at Mount Cook. What a Excellent suggestion. I’m not a lover of heights but the hour spent was accelerating and very enjoyable highly recommend. Just like our trip back with Lee trying to scare the bejesus out of me with the very scenic vistas and great scenery on the way we also stopped st the cardrona distillery for a tasting. Lee also made excellent suggestions of places to eat, which we did. Their meals were the best in Kiwi land that we had.
I could not give these people a higher recommendation. Smart, knowledgeable, funny we loved every minute of both private tours we highly recommend Alpine Adventures for you next private tour.
